What does Drop mean?

A "drop" in the sneaker community refers to the release of a new shoe. The term "Cop or Drop?" is often used to ask whether someone is planning to purchase the shoe or not. To "drop" a shoe means to not make an effort to buy it. It's the opposite of "cop" which means to make an effort to buy the shoe.
