What is a drawing?

In the sneaker community, a "drawing" typically refers to a raffle system that is used to sell limited-release sneakers. Rather than selling the sneakers on a first-come, first-served basis, sneaker brands and retailers may use a drawing system to give consumers a chance to purchase the limited edition sneakers.
